NOTE:

While drawing, makes sure to use your pen or pencil lightly, especially for rough drawing. Additionally, erase some of the outlines when and where required as you move further. Follow the instructions carefully and don’t skip any of the steps.

Step 1:

• First, start with the middle part of the petal-almond shape.
• Then draw two petals alongside as shown below.

Step 2:

• Now, draw two more petals alongside.
• Further, draw one petal inverted from the middle part of the petal.

Step 3:

• Draw two more petals highlighted below.

Step 4:

• Drawing petals in continuation, draw two half almond shape  petals on either side.

Step 5:

• Adding some details on the lotus petals.

Step 6:

• Drawing the petals on the upper side.
• First, draw the curved line.
• And then draw the small inverted V-shape for the petals as shown in the picture below.

Step 7:

• Add some details on the petals.

Step 8:

• First, Draw the stem of the lotus.
• Then draw one outline of the leaf highlighted in black.

Step 9:

• Now, draw another outline of the leaf.
• After that, draw the veins on the leaves of the lotus flower.

Step 10 (final):

• To make it more beautiful, draw a beautiful bud with a long stem.
• Draw the bud with a little blooming in their petals.
• Woooooo! With the drawing of the bud along with the stem, you have your lotus flower drawing.
